Thank you Marlon!  So far I am enjoying reading all the forums and discussions :) 

My husband and I are real estate brokers in Bend, OR.  We are very interested in buying our first investment property.  We have had numerous clients and family purchase investment property, and we would like to get involved ourselves.  In doing this, I want to learn about all the things to look out for, be aware of and the different ways of doing these types of investments.  I saw this website and thought it would be a good way to hear about others experiences and learn from them.
