Hi Blake! You will need to go through your own application/licensing process from step one. The city will not allow licenses to be transferred. Hope this helps and good luck!

@Konstantin Ginzburg Thanks!! We moved this building from STR to LTR during Covid. Our market down here is also very saturated with Airbnb's at the moment.

Short Term Rentals are properties on Airbnb for example. So you can rent them nightly, weekly, etc. These cash flow because you can rent for $200+ a night, and they may be booked at 95% occupancy during season. That is $6,000/month gross during those months. Off season is less of course, but still more than a long germ tenant would be paying. A LT tenant may be paying $2,300/month for that same property.
