@Gregory Wilson thanks for the response! Definitely sounds like Ohio has solid benefits for an LLC. It seems like Delaware and Wyoming may be adding extra unnecessary steps when Ohio laws will likely give me everything im looking for. Even though I'm from MD im not exactly familiar with LLC laws, but I doubt they are particularly friendly towards investors. Was thinking of getting an attorney to help set this all up. Got any recommendations?

So basically I am starting the ball rolling on real estate investing. Ultimately deciding a multifamily property in Cincinnati is probably my best bet for cash flow. With all this being said what I cant really seem to get a handle on is the best location to start the LLC. I live in Maryland, will be investing in Ohio, and have seen references to the LLC benefits of Wyoming and Delaware. Was hoping for guidance on where to start the LLC and getting an attorney to help start it correctly. I am guessing using an attorney for the specific state of the LLC would be the best bet considering they will have the specialized knowledge for that state. I would GREATLY appreciate if someone could help shed some light on the matter. Ive been trying to do my due diligence but I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. Thanks in advance for anyone that takes the time to respond!

Was hoping to get some ideas for brokers people have had success with in this area.  I am looking to invest from out of state in my first real estate investment property.  Preferably 2-4 unit multifamily.  Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
