@mindyJensen thank you for replying to my post. I have check my free credit reports and yes the inquiries are mine. Though there was a way to accelerate the 2 year waiting period.thank you for your quick comment.

I appreciate this question and I appreciate it more to know you are never too old or too young to get started. I am 38 years old and I do not own any real estate. Not even my own residential home. I do have a strong interest in rental properties  (buy and hold type of investor). 

 I am here because I would like to learn how to get started. Can anyone help me structure the best way to get started? I am open for any and every suggestions. Thank you

I have about 10 hard inquiries on my credit profile.  I am told there letters that I can send to the credit companies and have them remove the inquiry.  

Can anyone assist me with a copy of that letter?
