Thank you for the welcome Charles and the tip! I have started reviewing J Scott's blog from the beginning. Great stuff! Very well laid out.

Recently attended Armando Montelongo's class here in Milwaukee. The 3-day weekend seminar, I feel, was well worth the $1497. The information shared and knowledge of the speakers was very good.

However, nearly 50% of the class time was dedicated to up-selling us to a $40,000.00 mentorship program and bus tour in CA. Their pitch is well constructed and beautifully executed. Nearly a dozen people did sign up for it. I plan to keep in contact with them to see where it leads.

After the class I joined the local REI club. One of their members has a coaching group that offers a local bus tour tour for $79.00. Guess I'm just a cheapskate because I opted for that one instead.

One person at the REI meeting also informed me that their friend spent the $40k on Armando's course and made her first deal on the CA bus tour. She profited $8k. Not the best ROI (so far).

As of today, I have not been able to find any independent success stories on the web. Hope this is somewhat informative for anyone looking into their program.

Hello from beautiful sunny Milwaukee Wisconsin :D.

Brand new to this board, so I'll run the numbers for you:

Bought my first rental property at 20. Worked as a full time Property Manager for over 3-years. Left property management and Sold my Real Estate to purchase a business on Milwaukee's North Side in 2006 Great timing ;)

Anyway. Still young enough now at 31 and undiscouraged, I have recently closed the aforementioned business and have returned back to Real Estate.

My immediate goals are to build my network, secure my mindset, find a mentor, build a flipping business, eliminate remaining business debt, and begin accumulating income properties.

I have begun my marketing campaign, and am continuing my education. I am networking for a mentor, and seeking a private money lender to develop a long-term relationship with.

I am experienced with roofing, landscaping, drywall, plumbing, electrical, masonry, computers, accounting, budgeting, public speaking, planning, training, management, and probably some other stuff too..
