@Anthony Therrien-Bernard thanks. They just dont get it. They are there to cater to people buying their personal homes.

I have just ran through enrich mortgage but yet to inquire. Saw an their site that they finance and refinace projects with that said, i believe they are more knowledgeable with what investors are trying to achieve.

Hi everyone, im an aspiring investor doing as much learning as i can before purchasing my first rental.

Does anyone recommend a lender that finances and refinance a property? Looking to do brrrr deals.  I have spoken to my mortgage advisor at TD,unfortunately, they are not investor friendly or savvy.  They dont know what im talking about.

Looking for recommendations for lenders that are investor friendly.

Thanks

@Jeremy Heaman thanks for your response. Prices seem to be quite similar to edmonton. Listings are still limited but will check once more comes up

@Josh Arnold red deer has great population, economic diversity. Wetaskiwin is similar but its just closer to edmonton which i can self manager. Im pulling towards red deer. Have you done analysis on red deer market? What are your thoughts?

@Chris Baxter thanks for your response. For these past 3 months, i have been constantly checking houses and doing my own analysis on them. Edmonton with the current market doesnt seem to make sense but wetaskiwin and red deer does, thats my own opinion. Wetaskiwin has tons of reasonable inventory with fair rent whereas red deer is similar to edmonton when it comes to rent prices but housing prices are lower.

Not quite sure but need some thoughts on this.

Thanks

Thanks For your response.  Your situation works well for me as it is more realistic and attainable to my situation

I may have said it incorrectly. Im clear on the 40k dp. Im just wondering if you paid for the unit from a bank then refinanced with the same bank? Asking because, oftentimes i hear people saying to BRRRR by buying a the unit from a private lender then refinance with the bank.

I might just be confused or over thinking?

thanks
