Hello Everyone!
My name is Ian Pitsenbarger and I am from the Great Smoky Mountains in East TN. I have lived in this area 20 years of my life (currently 22). I am brand spanking new to the real estate market. I was reading a book when I decided to do real estate investing. My all time favorite book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I then decided to read more books on REI when I came across a book I am currently reading by Phil Pustejosky called How To Be A Real Estate Investor. In his book he talks about his mentorship program. When I researched the program I came across this forum started by a lady by the name of Erica on this website. I learned quickly that each and everyone of you guys are amazing in helping each other out and just had to become apart of the community.
A little about me:
Once again in 22 years old. I am a single father of two beautiful children. I am a server currently looking to get out of the rat race. I started in business when I was a freshman in high school. I joined a club called DECA. Little did I know the skills I learned in finance, business, sales, customer service and leadership would be the foundation of my future. I have studied finance on my own accord for 6 years and have recently gotten into the business aspect of things. I have owned 2 businesses myself, but miserably failed due to lack of knowledge. I won't let that keep me down though, it was an amazing learning experience. I dream of becoming financially free not only for myself but for my kids. I want to learn amazing skills so that I can teach them to be successful. I wanna build a legacy to leave behind and prove to everyone that said I couldn't that I can and will. I can't wait to get started but honestly have no idea how to. I have read in multiple spots that you can get started with no money or credit as Phil stated in his book that he did just 3 hours from me. My mind is open and im willing to learn anything and everything I can.
Than you guys for reading and I can't wait to start networking with each and every one of you!!
