Hi

I am new to investing. I became a member of local charlotte REIA. I need help on finding the below:

recommendations on hard money lender with regular finance conversion later?
recommendations on local realtors to get more listings to find what am looking for?
recommendations on website that gives me a chance to look at all the foreclosures or best deals out there in charlotte area?

please advise.

Thank you @Robert Lapp. I appreciate your response and invite to the meeting. I am interested, and i googled MetrolinaREIA. Found the below address 7621 Little Ave. Suite 415, Charlotte, NC 28226. Is that where the event is? It's actually 40 miles from where i live. I need to see how i can make it there on time after work.

I am Hariharan and I do have 0% background in real estate. Well, I recently bought a home for myself so learnt a little bit about few terminologies used in real estate.

I am originally from India, but moved to Charlotte last year. I liked it here, so decided to be here.

I work full time in IT (computers). But I am just more than passionate about Photography & Filmmaking.

I do have two masters degrees (1 in computers, 1 in prof. photography). I had done few commercial works, magazine covers, and am an ASMP member. Also had done a music video for a folsom prison song.

Reason for my interest to do real estate investment is mainly because, I do want to pursue my career in filmmaking. So am trying to create some passive income through RE with the intention of getting out of my full time job. And concentrate more on what i love to do.

My friend from Houson had referred me to this website, and am loving it. As a matter of fact, she was the reason that I also got into RE investment. She is just great.

Pretty much that's it friends :). Looking forward to knowing you all and have long term communication with you.

Thanks a lot for reading my post.

Sincerely,
Hariharan
