@Cherine

@Account Closed Thank you for your feedback I appreciate the youtube recommendation and I've been doing a lot of that lately. I will look into the LLC.

@kevin Feng. Congrats on your property...When working with RoofStock is there an option to put 20-30% down and finance the rest on that 51k? or is it required to pay the 51k all upfront? I am considering working with RoofStock.

@Jack

@Jack Butala Thank you for the welcome. I was wondering what it takes to be considered as a full-time real estate investor and how to become one? Do I need to have an LLC to purchase my first rental property? I understand that investing with no experience hardly constitutes a full-time investor but if there are classes or training certificates to acquire before I can legally be considered a real estate investor I am open to recommendations. Thank you

@James Wise @Marcello Oliveri I want to thank you both for your feedback advice and things to consider. I will continue to research as I get ready to sell my house in the near future and with the proceeds begin investing.

@Marcello Oliveri, I truly appreciate the guidance and the feedback. I had been looking into Morris investments. I saw some things I really liked and saw myself lining up with their values and perspective but the ongoing lawsuit has me skeptical. I also saw kris Kron who is into SFR too and I really learned a lot from his content. I am not a accredited investor yet to become a partner with him. I really like your practical and very descriptive approach to different ways to achieve my goals :) thank you again. I will definitely use this advise moving forward

@Marcello Oliveri, Thank you for the helpful insight. I do see the cons of turnkey for an investor... however, would the risk be similar for a new investor with no experience? In a out of state market that had Better deals but lacked the experience of how to lock in good contractors and  property management companies. would pro long an immediate investment opportunity, to act on an affordable property? Don’t get me wrong I agree with your cautions to buy turn key properties, and I won’t to get to a place where I can identify a great opportunity when I see one and obviously work to build a network of contacts that I trust, I also know it takes time and I don’t want to get caught up in “FOMO” (fear of missing out).

@James Wise, thank you this a great and very help information. I appreciate it and will start my research right away. I’ve actually been looking on the BP marketplace for deals as well. I will need to do my due Diligence and explore the turnkey companies. I am not as tech savvy as I need to be. How do I set up “key word” alerts? If you don’t mind sharing

@James Wise, I appreciate the feedback and I like the 1-4 unit strategy however I do not have 10 residential loans. I am getting the strategies and advice I am looking for. What areas of the country should I start looking into to start investing into? My Focus is SFR/Multi, Goal is to get my first deal sooner than later I just am trying to do my due diligence. Seeing that I am in California for another year or so.
