Post: Burst pipe in rented condo (HOA)

Tried to keep my title concise. There was a burst pipe in our rented condo. Some flooding happened in bedroom, hallway, some living room and HOA is trying to figure out where leak originated by putting holes in walls in hallway/bedroom. The place is livable, a mess, but livable. What do I do in this situation as a landlord? Do you knock off money on rent? Give them an allowance on how much they can spend on a hotel for a temporary living situation? This is my first time dealing with an ordeal to this extent, so any help or advice is much appreciated.
