Thanks for sharing your work day @Ivy Wang it does sound like something I would be interested in. Are you with a particular broker or are you a managing broker yourself?

If you're with a broker do you have a monthly sales goal that you have to fulfill to work with them? Is the whole reason to be with a broker to gain leads?

Are there other expectations from the broker if you do work for say a Remax office? For example: you have to spend ____ hours in the office each day?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking most of us work during the day so how about Saturday morning?

Let me know if you're available this Saturday the 6th.

Panera 451 S Randall Rd, Algonquin

If not, we could find a different Saturday for everyone.

Thanks!

Jackie

Thanks so much for your insight! I appreciate it.

More questions for you:

How long have you been an agent?

Before I decide I'd like to get more information about what it is to be a real estate agent.

Could you give me "a day in the life" of a real estate agent please?

How have your earnings fared during the housing crisis?

Thanks,

Jackie

I'm hoping to network with other investors in our area. We live in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Huntley, Crystal Lake, LITH, Algonquin, etc.

I'm interested in a casual "coffee talk" type gathering with other investors. We go grab a coffee and talk about Real Estate, learn from each other, and help each other. Super casual.

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,

Jackie

I'm new to real estate investing and was considering getting my real estate license as a way to increase my knowledge of the industry and also my exposure to deals. I want to invest in real estate for retirement reasons and also TAX savings reasons. I heard from my accountant that RE agents are considered RE professionals and therefore don't receive the same tax advantages as a RE investor. The structure is different. I'd love some feedback so I can make a decision.

Thanks for your input.

Jackie

We just got back from the 3-day seminar for $197. I felt it was well worth the money. I am not an investor yet but plan to be and am contemplating becoming a mastery student. I noticed several seasoned investors bought the program by the time the weekend was over. Which really impressed me. The system they are selling seems like it's unique to the industry. They are selling not just coaching and additional seminars, but a computer program that gives you access to everything you need to run an investing business; RE forms, RE community, rehabbing templates that can minimize headaches with contractors and speed up completion. My main take-away was that this program is for people who don't want to spend the next 5 years tying to figure it out by trial and error. And for those who are already investing, it can take your company to the next level if that's what your looking for.
