@Nathan G. Thank you for the help. I had gotten similar advice from our agent. However I like how simple and direct your advice is.

Hello everyone on bigger pockets

I am from southern New Jersey and am looking to purchase my first investment property to house hack. This is a duplex in the Collingswood area of South Jersey. First I am looking for recommendations for a home inspector in this area that has done a number of inspections on older multi-family properties. Second the property currently has two tenants one has a lease that is ending in the next 3 months and will be asked to move out. Has anyone had experience in what allows this transition to work in a smooth seamless and what makes life more difficult?

I am a newly local to the South Jersey area and am looking to start my journey to financial freedom. My current profession is as a line production manager for an automotive company. I have started to educate myself with real estate investing and I would like to dive much deeper into the field. I am reaching out to any and all who are in the industry and interested in an extremely ambitious student, hard worker, and I am willing to begin at any level in order to achieve my goals. To anyone who might be interested, I would like to extend an open invitation to meet up and further discuss matters, and/or anything pertaining to real estate.

Thank you for your time,

Jack Murphy

Hello everyone,

Newer to bigger pockets as well as real estate investing. Would like to start with a house hack or a short term rental property. Looking for like minded people in our area with similar goals and interest to meet with and learn from.
