While most landlords on BP do background checks your talking about the best and most informed landlords that actually read forums. Most landlords still don't do these checks and you should be able to find a place with offering first last and deposit down.

$1425 in rent for 3 units seems low but I don't know the area.

Can you raise rents on these to make the numbers work better?
