Will be a very good buy and hold in Eureka. Rent is going up massively in the region. In addition, Cal Poly Humboldt is increasing enrollment quite drastically in the coming years and there is not enough housing to go around in the region.

I am interested in buying a fixer-upper home in Oakland (East Lake Merritt area, West Oakland, North Oakland, Fruitvale).  Looking for one of the following:

1. SFR with an unfinished basement that could be converted to another unit

2. Duplex or triplex.

3. SFR with a big lot that allows for an inlaw unit to be built

I have a budget of $160 to 550k. Does anyone have any extra properties that they want to unload? I am looking to live in this property. I have a hard-money lender.

Wyoming and New Mexico have anonymous LLCs. You can have them own the MO LLC which owns the property for added protection.
