Starting a real estate investing journey requires education, understanding the market, setting clear goals, and leveraging experience. It's best to start small, and get advice from those who know, and understand how to check things carefully. Make friends in the field, be patient, keep going even when it's hard, and be ready to change when needed. Look at home listings, listen to talks, and join online chats to keep up-to-date and be flexible.

definitely start with a house hack.

i started by renting my first primary residence out when I moved into a bigger place.  i still have it.

i did not and do not have a coach, but i went to lots of REIA meetings when I got started and benefited tremendously. i went to small networkings ones and networked. i went to big pitchfests suspecting they were pitchfests, got pitched at, didn't buy anything, and networked at those too.

Welcome Jada!!! I recommend with connecting with the young realtist division of los angeles. They have many cool networking events with other real estate agents. Their ig page is yrd_la. 

See who lists the most investor-friendly properties inside of your office if you haven't. When you are licensed, you soon realize 99 percent of agents don't know anything about investing so when you find someone who does and works with investors, that is who you want to associate with or assist.
