Thanks @Dawn Brenengen I usually bank with USAA and Navy Fed but they do have a branch here.

@Nate T. That is what I read, if you are an broker or if you are managing somebody else's properties then you will need a trust account... I am managing my own so from my understanding a savings account will be fine.

Thank you for your input @Robert Gilstrap this are just my first steps in this long journey from here I get resources on what to do and where to look for... believe me I do not want to do anything illegal.

Great @Rick S. it looks like I do not even need a trust account, I can just open a new bank account and label it as ''trust account'' and that might work....that is good news @Rick S. thanks!!!

Hi,


I am in the Fayetteville, NC area. I have a 4 units that has been always managed by a  local company and now I want to manage them. The property manager is telling me that I need a Trust Account for my tenants security deposit... Can anyone explain how can I set up that account and if I can put all tenants security deposits in one account???


This is the first time I write in BP..... THANKS!!!!!!!
