I have a property under contract currently to be assigned. I have a business partner who is more experienced then I am but they don’t seem to be as eager as I am, I’m starting to get anxious & so is the seller.

I’m using my partners established resources (attorney, contracts, etc.) to orchestrate the deal. But We’re having trouble securing a buyer & it’s making me nervous because I don’t want us to lose this deal due to the seller losing trust & getting cold feet.

We’ve marketed the property on Social networks but not having much luck. & I don’t have a list of buyers established as of yet.

Any advice please?

@Joseph Crunkilton I believe that wholeheartedly. I think the fact that I’m a new investor & very eager to grow & be successful makes me seem vulnerable when dealing with experienced investors.

But I’m adamant about becoming an entrepreneur. I WILL accomplish my goals.

Good luck to you on your endeavors.

I need some advice in regards to dealing with a seller who’s been an investor for a long time & is a very “straight shooter”, who’s willing to sell, but doesn’t need to sell. I spoke with the seller earlier & called me a “greenhorn” & told me to “make an offer, if it works then I’ll sell you my property.”

The seller wants to get as much as possible for the property & also wants to make sure that the exit strategy works for them.

This will be my first deal & I do not want to lose this opportunity. Can someone with experience please help me?

I am a newbie investor in Rochester, NY. I’d like advice on how I can learn to start & finish conversations with potential sellers & also build up a rapport with them.
