Thanks @Tyler Smith ! idk yet who I'll be hanging my license with. I need to figure that out soon. I'm hoping to connect with a couple people, like yourself, and ask some for advice on that. I'm planning on getting together with Marcus(above post) soon. It would be great to meet up with you as well if you wouldn't mind. I see both of you are with Keller Williams. Seems there are so many options... What makes one a better choice than the next?

Hey Luke! I'm new to BP and am in a similar scenario in the sense that I also have done extensive rehab/upgrades to our family home and am also wanting to get my feet wet with some rentals and or flips. We live in the Milwaukee area(Greendale to be exact). I don't have much investing experience yet, but I do have a good amount of knowledge as far as home repairs are concerned.   Hello BP! My name is Jake Benzow. I'm fairly new to BP. I was told about this amazing site by a friend when I was asking for some advice on my decision to change my career path and get into real estate at 38 years old. I can't thank him enough for pointing me in this direction! I am amazed at the education and sense of community found here!

  I passed the WI state sales licensing exam this morning and have submitted my application to the state this afternoon. I have also started a search for a job in real estate that can hopefully replace the pay of my current job that I desperately want out of. I am looking to focus on investment properties, however I'm not sure if that will be in residential or commercial RE. I am also in the process of developing a plan to start investing in properties personally and developing a portfolio of my own.
