So we went to the seminar and you guys were right... They gave us just enough info to be interested then told us to hand over $300 for a future seat at a workshop class (which we did not). However I did learn a few new things that I haven't yet heard on bp or some of the books I've read so it wasn't a waste of time. Also my wife was actually taking notes and showing interest so I'd say it was an overall good experience. I still want to learn more about how to calculate deals for flipping or brrr before we take the plunge, but I think she's onboard for making this happen sooner rather than later.

I appreciate the heads up, and figured that's what it was about. I was mostly intrigued by the potential networking possibilities than the sales pitch... also, I'm trying to ease my wife into the idea of purchasing our first investment property. My constant telling her of all I've learned through bigger pockets or books I've read sometimes go in one ear and out the other so I'm hoping an event might motivate or encourage her to learn more.

Hello, my names Jake, I've been listening to bigger pockets and Grant Cardone for a while now and am about to attend my first seminar on investing in real estate/house flipping. I've registered to the class in Chesterfield, MO on Tuesday September 12th for the 6:00 time slot. Just wondering if anyone else has taken this class and what I can expect for my wife and I.
