Well the house that was in question is being held on to until next year due to the tax break down, the owner had already sold a condo this year, so he felt holding on to his property and renting it out, would help him in the tax bracket. I do appreciate the response though @Scott R.

make sure who ever your friend works with, he has to have all the scope of work, everything from A total list price as is, sqft, lot size, locaction,ARV, contact the owner to make sure and if he can get it under contract , you should have home take some professional pictures, outlining the work that will add value, so You can Noé compare it to the locals properties in the area, of yaws numbers are profitable for both parties.

Is there a specific title company here in Amarillo, that anyone recommends to handle assignment contracts?

New to real estate investing have been doing a lot of studying on my own reading books, watching webinars, and recently attended a 3 day workshop. Got interested in Real Estate after learning how lucrative of an investment it can be, not to mention how much time and freedom it provides, as a father of 4, I know time is one thing that cannot be taken for granted or retrieved once it's gone! I worked in the oil field 2 1/2 years before sustaining an injury, that required me to be away from home 6 days at a time!

My Real Estate goals are to build a business that will allow me and my girlfriend of 5 years to produce a legacy we can build and eventually pass on to our children. Currently I am looking to start off wholesaling and progress into every other aspect of the real estate profession.

I look forward to networking with you all, sharing ideas, gaining knowledge and also making some solid connections!

Wishing you all success,

James Russell
