I would purchase a duplex around Quail Creek - just east of the Domain.  Another option would be the Anderson Mill area!  Good luck in your search - feel free to reach out if you want to discuss more or talk through your options.  We have a couple duplexes in Austin and they have done very well.  I also helped my sister purchase one a few years ago and she did exactly what you are planning to do - lived there a few years and then purchased another.

I wouldn't worry about it until you have more properties. I'm of the opinion that it is more hassle than it is worth with only a few properties. I'm a realtor, attorney and have multiple rentals - we still haven't transferred into an LLC.

I would recommend Cindy Grossman - if she can't help you herself, she will probably know who can!  Good luck.
