Welcome Tee! There's an infinite amount of information to gain from BP, much more than I expected! Check out the webinars and blogs. I love reading about real world experiences that I can relate to; as I am too new to investing.
Best to you!

Hi Ivory,
I am from Hilo, Hawaii. Once a month, on the first Wednesday of the month, there is an REI meeting in Hilo. A realtor/investor holds these meetings at a realty office where he goes over some investing topics. It's a great place to start and connect with others interested in investing. Here's the link: http://www.reiclub.com/real-estate-clubs/hawaii.ht...
Best Regards,
Jamie

Hi Loren,
I have a few friends in Maui that might be interested in some fixers. I'd love to give them your contact information. Perhaps I could do a deal with them too...

Aloha Michael!
Puna district is quite close to home for us and is an area where there are some great deals; which I am looking into. However, this area of the island can be tricky when looking for homes because of issues like unpermitted structures and additions, as well as lava zoning. Many lenders, including hard money lenders, won't lend money for homes in parts of that area. For the most part, I'm looking for fixers in Hilo and some parts of Puna.
How about you?

Thank you for the welcome! As of now, I'm looking for fixers in Hawaii. However, I will be looking into buy and hold properties outside of the islands.

Hi, I'm Jamie Robertson. I'm looking forward to learning more about real estate investing and building great connections here. My short term goal is to fix and flip a few properties a year, and in the long run..I'd like to be able to buy and hold properties.
