What I would do is talk to 5-10-15 lenders. Do not limit yourself to one. See what happens?

Also how would you rent out the rooms? To buddies or random people? Also would you do background checks and do a lease or how would you do everything logistically?

My savings is literally 20k though. I do not know if I could self manage. I am not a property manager just I work in leasing/sales.

How did you get your first property? Did you have a 9-5 to make it happen? Do you self manage? What is the story how you did your first deal?

For people that rent out rooms that do rely on renting to friends or family how do you usually find your tenants? Where do you post or advertise to rent your rooms out? Where do you get most solid success?

I am 30 years old. I live in FL. I work in property management in the apartment industry as a leasing agent. I make 20$ an hour gross. I have 20k in cash. Am I allowed to do anything anytime soon, or am I 3-5 years away from my deal if not longer? I know I do not want to wait until I am 65 to retire and do not want to work a 9-5 until I am 65 I have already decided that. Any advice
