Hello all. I realize some time has past on this discussion, but I am a veteran looking to get into my first deal as well. My questions that has not been asked yet are: 1) how long do you have to live in that property if you are going through a VA loan? Can you refinance after a certain length of time, add a tenet in the unit you were living, and move onto your next investment? Is a VA loan a one time loan? Or can you refinance on that first property and use a VA Loan for you next investment property, which you would live in while building equity? Thanks in advance for any input.

@David Rawls have you done your first deal yet that you were discussing in this forum?  I would love to hear the details / outcome if you have.

Hey all, I am glad to be a part of the community. As someone new to real estate, I am currently building my education base, for a vision to be successful in real estate as a second income, as well as in the future, give back to this forum and a new person like me. I am here to learn and read about other investor's experience. I enjoy calculated risk with my due diligence. I welcome information and mentorship. Looking forward to getting started. Thanks!
