Hi Tonye,
You are making a fantastic decision to invest in the Kansas City market. I along with others think there is a ton of potential. Have you considered purchasing David Green's book on Out of State Investing? Link below.
https://www.amazon.com/Long-Distance-Real-Estate-Investing-State/dp/0997584750
It's published by Bigger Pockets and has a ton of helpful advice and strategies.
Once you've found a good home inspector or realtor for example, they will typically know other professionals that are trustworthy and reliable. I'd utilize these referrals to build your network.
As always referrals from the folks here on BP are also invaluable.
Happy investing!

Hey guys,
Anyone else like subject to transactions as much as I do? :)
Looking to close on one in the Kansas City Metro. Any recommendations for attorneys and/or title companies?
I have an awesome attorney that I use but need a backup in such case he isn't available.
Any referrals are greatly appreciated! You're awesome!

Hey guys, based in the SF Bay Area but investing in my hometown of Kansas City, MO, GO CHIEFS!
I fulfilled a lifelong aspiration last year in purchasing my soon-to-be retired father a home which he loves. Its a 2-1 on the border of Kansas City and Raytown MO and its alleviate a ton of concern as he navigates an inevitable income reduction. I intend to remodel the property however since it won't be leased or owner occupied Im wondering if I have any options for pulling my money out of the property? Do I have any refinancing options?
Always amazed at the contributions so many of you are making toward helping others reach their financial goals. May you be blessed with all your heart's desires.

Hi folks,
Looking for an attorney to help draft agreements for a "subject to" property acquisition in Jackson County Missouri.
Any referrals?
Beyond that I'm curious if this strategy for real estate investing is antiquated.
I'm aware of some of the risk involved both for the seller and buyer but any additional education is always welcomed.
You guys are awesome!

Triplex priced under market in low inventory area. $280k of instant equity or more. Off market deal with great value add opportunity for the the savvy San Diego investor. Huge lot with rents 28% under market. No rent control in San Diego provides the opportunity to immediately effect monthly gross rents. Hard to find 100% occupied and 3000+ livable square footage make this property a steal. Massive lot affords the opportunity to build an additional 4 units for an insane ROI per zoning ordinance. Low maintenance with month to month leases for each tenant.

Could you clarify your intentions? Don't intend to utilize an agent with this one.
