Opportunity Zone is a interesting strategy. I will have to look into that. I have a property under contract and the the money to purchase came from stock proceeds. It is in a lower income area and has potential for section 8. Thanks for the tip.

@Jesse Daconta thanks. I guess I didn’t realize a 1031 was just for real estate. More research needed on my end I guess.

Can you take to proceeds from selling stock and 1031 into real estate? Anyone out there done this?
