Post: What part-time job should I work for to gain more knowledge 4 REI

Hello!
I am a 19-year-old college student that is heading into summer break and wants to use this break wisely to gain some REI knowledge. Along with possibly shadowing a real estate agent, I would like to work a part-time job that deals with REI. I am thinking about working at a bank to get insight into how loans work and dealing out loans (plus it will also look good on my resume because I am a finance major) or working for a construction company to learn more about basic construction for the rehab process.
Do you guys think this is a good idea? If so, which employment would you choose? If I apply to work at a bank, would any bank work or is there a specific bank I should look for?
Are there any other jobs I should consider working at that will help me further my knowledge of the REI process?
I believe this is my best next step to gaining knowledge in REI without needing to purchase a property at this moment.
Thank you all for your help!

Quote from @Will Barnard:
You did not finish your thought above, none the less, YES, it matters where your team is depending on your RE strategy. Most RE strategies need some "boots on the ground" so if you are investing from afar, you need local team members to the RE.
Sorry about that, I am still trying to get used to the forums. I updated my question.

Hello BP Community!
I am currently trying to build my real estate investing team and had some questions. Should I have different team members with the same skill in different locations? An example is having a general contractor in one location and a different general contractor in another area?
Thanks for your help!

Hello BP community! I am a new investor looking to invest in Richmond, VA. After doing some research, it seems Richmond is one of the better markets to invest in Virginia. I am looking to connect with other investors in Richmond just to meet more people who understand the market better than I do.
Thank you for all your help!

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I am not sure too sure if it is a good post but I figured I'd give it a shot. I am full-time college student majoring in finance and I am very eager to start investing in real estate. I was wondering if anyone is hiring or has any jobs that involve REI which could be done remotely. As of right now, my main focus has been reading books and listening to podcasts, but I would much prefer if I could get some involvement in the investment process. If this counts for anything, I have my real estate license in Virginia but am currently only a referral agent. I also have some experience with excel.
If anyone does not think this is a good idea, I would also appreciate it if you left some tips on how to further grow my investing career.
Thank you for your time! It is greatly appreciated :)
