I have a small residential portfolio which I have enjoyed and would like to continue to grow. Commercial investing has always interested me, although I have heard its a much different animal. I have a residential license and know that side of it pretty well. My question is: is commercial investing that much different? Do most investors usually stick to one or the other? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Hi BP- I don't post much but I love reading the information, very helpful. I have some rentals that I have switched from my personal name to my LLC. Would I need to have my tenants execute a new lease with the LLC or could I assign the original lease to my LLC name without the hassle of having them sign a new one? I wanted to ask here before consulting my attorney. Thanks in advance!
