With that said, multifamily deals are very competitive. You have a greater disadvantage because you're out of town. If you haven't already, I'd start a Georgia LLC and a local bank account so you are more credible.

Thanks - I have a LLC registered for my first property - will do seperate LLCs for each of the units that I purchased. Just waiting for my tax nr before I can open a US bank account.

Good Morning - I am new to US investment property.  I am from South Africa and recently purchased my first unit in Atlanta and I got my offer accepted for a duplex last week.

Going forward I would like to try my hand at triplex or larger.  It seems hard to find them in the Atlanta area - any ideas on the best place to start my search? 

I am also looking for good property managers in this area - i am not too happy with my current manager - any referral appreciated.
