Post: Typical partnership split

I have the opportunity to possibly partner with someone who has more money than time, which would be a great fit as I have more time than money.  My question is this: I know that every situation is different, but what are the most commonly used arrangements for profit splits?  We would be doing some flips and/or some buy and holds, not determined yet.  Most likely, I would be running the projects, either doing the work or hiring the contractors, including ongoing rent collection and maintenance, and he would be supplying the money.  I have seen a wide range mentioned, from 90-10, to 50-50.  I'm wondering, in your collective experience, what is typical in the real world.  I'm trying to balance the value of my work with the value of his money, and be fair to both.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Just joined Bigger Pockets.  We've done a couple of flips in Waterbury, CT.  We're looking to do more, and to build a portfolio of rentals there.  Enjoying the great info on BP.
