Follow up.  I threatened collections so tenant has agreed to pay back 695 of the 1295 from the reversal.  Once I get his check I will repay cozy.  He still stole 600 bucks from me but it's not worth my time.

I read the reversal time was 60 days but other posts here argue you can do it forever.

the tenant moved out 9/30 and I was notified of the cozy reversal of the 9/1 last months  rent payment on 11/4.

The tenant didn't owe my any money but now that he reversed the payment of $1,295 for 1 months rent, I'm worried cozy will come after me for the money.  Like I said, I put in a block on the reversal so I still have the funds.  Not sure how far cozy will go to collect?  I dont want my credit affected    Also, I'm going to stop using cozy with my current tenant and make them pay by check.  If cozy does come after me for the money, my main options seem to be small claims court ( I know I can win, everything is documented), collections (less time consuming), or possibly fraud investigation.  Any thoughts?  Also, I'm wondering if his bank will reverse the reversal after they investigate as he has no evidence (I've done everything by the book).

My tenant got mad after I legitimately deducted $600 from his security deposit for cleaning fee and damaged furniture so he reversed his last months rent on cozy.  I immediately put in a block with my bank to stop the reversal.  What is my best course of action here?
