Thank you @Account ClosedI definitely ignore the haters and only look at positive comments. This is why women need a place to go where we can voice our opinions and thoughts without people's negative input.  This post was meant to be a positive thing and not written to offend or bring negative comments. Thank you to all the ladies who have joined the discussion, it's been great! 

Brenda Lyons maybe you could try typing in women's real estate investors group into the search box on Facebook instead and see if it pops up!

Ok ladies, I made a Facebook page to get us started! It's called "Women's Real Estate Investors Group". If you ask to join I will add everyone. Also once you are part of the group you can add your friends and anyone else. Very excited to have this group so we can share stories and experiences and basically just help each other out in any way we can! Thank you again for the great response.

Thank you all for the comments! I think it's going to be a great group of ladies to have real estate conversations! Does anyone have any suggestions on where to have the group? I've researched it and Facebook is looking like the easiest way for having a group chat. I just don't want to exclude people who don't have a Facebook account..

I will make a Facebook page that we can all join and I'll post the link here a little later on. Very excited to get started! Let me know if Facebook doesn't work for some people and I will try come up with something else.

To all the amazing women investors on BP! My name is Jenny Cunningham from FL, I started investing in real estate about 2 years ago with my partner (male) and have mainly focused on doing flips while recently looking to get into the rental market as well. As I'm sure you all know being a female in the investing world has its challenges of which I have faced with many with people not showing me the same respect as my partner receives. I did some quick searches but can't find any groups directed to women investors and I want to see if anyone is interested in a female group chat where we can bounce ideas, questions or anything to do with the investing world and help each other out! I think it would be very beneficial for the less experienced investors to get a chance to talk to the experienced investors and hear some of the challenges they have been able to overcome as a female investor. Hoping this can help everyone from the beginner to some of the most experienced. If you're interested please comment here or send me a quick message. I'd love to hear from everyone!!

I'm new to bigger pockets and I just wanted to reach out to everyone and let them know what I'm doing.

Right now I invest with my partner in single family homes to renovate and flip. We have been doing this successfully since late 2013 in the Downtown Orlando market.

I also do interior design! I studied interior design in Dublin Portobello Institute Ireland and here in Orlando. Im expanding my business out to work with other investors. If you have trouble or no time to be picking out cabinet styles, paint colors, tiles, fixtures, etc for all areas of the house I'm here to help! I can almost guarantee your house will sell faster with in-trend designs in your flips, as long as it's priced right! I can work with any size budget to make your house the best looking on the street! I have flat fees or we can do some sort of a percentage deal.
