I recently relocated from SC to Houston. I am researching the market in Galveston and blown away by the steep increase in prices over the past year. There also seems to be a LOT of ST rentals available on air bnb. I would love to find a short term rental investment, but wondering about the areas west of Galveston like Freeport. Would love any insight on navigating the market in texas right now! Thank you.
