Wow! This was a great summary and an eye opener. I have friends who have LTR/STR and MTR is where I live. To date the MTRs have been lovely and work as hard as I do! No parties, no shenanigans. I've hesitated on LTR for some of the reasons you mentioned and will keep this all in mind moving forward. Thank you for the education - jr

Congratulations! Very inspiring and I appreciate your honesty about reserve $$$.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for the replay. I was skeptical of FF and how quickly they moved me to Key Check. TransUnion makes sense. I didn't realize it was a product they offered (duh!). Thank you from a nice New England Girl. My last home was S. Portland/Willard Beach. ;)

Thank you Bonnie! I will look into Baseline. Much appreciated. -jr

I have just listed my 1st MTR on line today! I had LTR in the past but used management company b/c I was out of state. I see where others recommend listings on FF, AirBnB, Zillow, etc. My questions are about companies like KeyCheck which is offered through FF. Admittedly, this is the least researched aspect of my whole business plan.

1) Are you obligated to use KeyCheck with a FF listing?

2) What are the negative or 'things to watch for' when using KeyCheck?

3) Which plan have you used (my assumption is at least the Pro platform)?

4th) Are there better programs to streamline tenant screening and money transactions?

Any additional information is greatly appreciated!  Thank you in advance - Jen
