Hi!

I’ve had the idea of rental property investing for awhile now, and I finally started listening to podcasts and audiobooks on the topic. I am making my way through one of Brandon’s books and all the podcast episodes. I’m feeling a little information overload, and I don’t know where to even start.

A little background.. 

*Never owned a home before, been a renter of condos/duplexes for 10+ years

*Currently in Las Vegas, but have some knowledge/ties to Indianapolis, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando markets. Willing to invest locally or long distance.

*Am eligible for a VA loan, have 0 debt, credit score 800+

*Currently only have $10k cash saved for investing, income doesn’t allow for big gains in this area

*Slightly anti social, very scared to take risks, and easily overwhelmed!! 

Okay hopefully that gives a good picture of what I’m working with. I’ve been drawn to multi family (duplex mostly) homes that need some rehab,  but I’m not sure if this is a good ‘starter’ path?
