An adaptive reuse meetup will begin this fall in Denver!
We will meet at different adaptive reuse location each meeting to see the transformation and discuss the opportunities, challenges, and rewards of this strategy. A different industry thought leader will present and allow a time for Q&A.
The goal is to raise awareness of and encourage this strategy as well as network with likeminded investors and entrepreneurs.
Everyone is invited, though the thrust is for investors. Contractors, businesspeople, and interested community members are all welcome. Experienced investors and newbies alike stand to benefit.
Will meet once per month to start.
Send me a message and I'll add you to the meetup notification or look this up on the Meetup app beginning the second week of August 2024.

I'm looking for information on why larger corporations(in spaces outside real estate investing) buy real estate. Real estate which is otherwise unrelated to their operations. Do they leverage the purchase for taxes and depreciation?
Please provide related articles if you know of any.
Thank you

Quote from @Michael Baum:
Good luck with finding someone @Jeremy Lack. I agree with @John Underwood on finding a local person.
Is there any reason you aren't looking at LTRing the place?
Good question, I don't think I'll get the rent I need for the PITI on the place at a long term rate. Also, I'm looking for a one year lease only.

Quote from @John Underwood:
I would make sure to get a local person that can visit your property when needed.
Someone that is insured and preferably licensed.
Also make sure they have plenty of experience.
There are plenty of people with little to no experience that live in other cities and states trying to do this.
You may as well self manage as opposed to hiring someone that doesn't live in your area.
I appreciate that. I'm not looking to self manage for a while because I need to get a one year lease on this property for my personal debt to income ratio in another primary house. Yes I'm looking for an experienced operator.

I want to see if someone will arbitrage my house in Clear Creek county, CO. 15 minutes to Loveland ski area, 25 to Silverthorne, 30 to Breckenridge. Great location between Summit county and Grand county activities, two of the most vacationed counties in Colorado. Clear Creek county is a nice getaway as well. Walking distance to a cool coffee shop and the Georgetown Loop Railway. Close to rafting, skiing, lakes, tons of trails. Clear Creek is immediately across the street from the house.
We are looking to move and need a one year lease on this current house to be qualified for the new mortgage. This is why we aren't operating the Air Bnb ourselves.
3 bed, 1 bath, 1200 sqft, no hot tub as of now.
Recently renovated, siding will be replaced later in May. Balconies on the two upstairs rooms.
We're living here now so looking at pictures you'll have to use your imagination with our personal items gone.
We are furnishing the house but open to discussions about that. Asking 3200/month
Please direct message me with inquiries.
@Account Closed thank you for the suggestion, but this isn't my strategy.
