Good afternoon,
I'm a school teacher in the Houston, TX area, looking to enter into real estate. I would like to begin with a flip to build capital and buy & hold inventory afterwards. The obstacle I'm running into is funding. Can anyone give any advice or helpful tips for a real estate novice like myself? I already have an LLC for the properties as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you @Rosston Smith, @Sochima Eze, @Michael Le, @Anthony Ellison, @Manuel Angeles, @William E. and @Mark Caiazza. Since this is a new venture for me, I'll definitely educate myself on all of the scenarios that you mentioned. I really appreciate the advice. Thanks again Gentlemen!

Good Afternoon,
I am a school teacher in the Houston area trying to get into owning rental property. I'm having a difficult time getting my foot in the door. There have been several properties that I was interested in but each one required 15K or more on the deposit, which I don't have on a teacher's salary. Would anyone have any advice on how to get started with little money down? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
