Wow, thank you for the good information, I have heard they are illegal but see them around a lot so I thought how bad could it be if you get busted. Well I will rethink that now.

So the best practice would be to have a contractor estimate at least my first few deals with repairs, do you agree. I don't know of another way to gain the knowledge, any suggestions? Thanks

I enjoy reading your posts, it all sounds good to me but I have noticed no one has mentioned starting out by wholesaling a property and I wonder why not?
