I don't own any properties but seeing as they gave you a bad check more then likely they knew it was going to bounce so I would check my local laws to see what it says but I would assume it's on them.

@Account Closed I found the two groups around dc ill attend the next event. Is it normal for groups to have a membership fee? I see your point on finding better deals in my own area then in D.C. I started out focused on that area because it's growth seems to be relatively high but I didn't think about where I was located at being a good starting point since its such a small community. I will do some research in to it and I hope your right and I find a great deal thanks for the input.

Harper's Ferry is a rather small community with less then 400 people. It's mostly a tourist attraction due to the historical significance. D.C. is rather expensive I realize how expensive it is but the appreciation rate is rather high in D.C. is rather high if i'm not mistaken I could be wrong though.

Hello everyone my name is Jesse Downey. I've been a member for a month or so now and wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I've been a plumber's apprentice (who also happens to be my dad) for a few years now. Currently i'm researching multifamily homes and hope to make my first purchase in D.C. in a year or two once I improve my credit and have a down payment saved up.
