Thanks for the info Michael. I plan to call around to the few I have found.
I actually don’t see a lot of luxury short term rental management companies. It seems to me that most people just use the larger companies, which I’m not opposed to either and plan on reaching out to them.

It would be unpaid internships so they will get my work for free because I still get my active duty pay.
I do bring a lot to the table with 20 years of military service, I have a lot of skills that are very useful in civilian businesses.
I’ve also been running another business for 14 yrs external to the military. It’s just not property management. I’ve done everything from sales, to accounting/bookkeeping, customer service, hiring/firing people, managing staff, and everything in between.
I also recently went through the process of purchasing our own rental. Then designed, furnished, and set it up all by myself.
I know there’s more to learn and want to see  how others do it. To then pay it forward and teach others how to do it too.

Hi!

Long shot here, but shooting my shot. I'm retiring from the military next year and have recently started our rental portfolio. I realize it's pretty niche but I'm looking for a short term rental property management company I could do an internship. I looked on the DOD skillbridge website and found one. But they finally contacted me back and said they don't have the bandwidth to do it. There are a few others listed but their websites are lack-luster.

I'm wondering if any knows of a company who is maybe not listed on the website or would interested in going through the process. I have the details how to do that.

I'd prefer a hybid internship, mostly online with some travel. I have 100 days I'm looking to do. I do have my real estate salesperson license in Virginia, but have not done much with it yet.

Thanks in advance!
