sorry for the confusion.  I was looking for the typical cost of an inspector.

Thanks I really appreciate the help.   I have been quoted an attorney fee of $800 and appraisal fee of $500.  This is more than double what I usually pay is SC.    What should I expect to pay an attorney to do the closing?  What does an inspection run in Baton Rouge?

Can anyone suggest a reasonable attorney and a great home inspector?    Thanks Jim
