Post: Rent to Retirement Great experience

I am new to real estate investing, and heard of Rent to Retire through my self directed IRA company. I had been thinking about adding some real estate to my portfolio and so I started working with RTR.

We closed on a new construction home in Montevallo Alabama (near Birmingham). The process went very well, with just a few hiccups. When we approached closing, the title company had the numbers all wrong, so I worked with the lender recommended by RTR and with them as well to get it all right. They worked hard for me and it all worked out!

They have been great to work with. They are knowledgeable and very patient with all my questions as a new rental property purchaser! The property is a new construction and I look forward to a long and profitable experience!

I would highly recommend Rent to Retirement, they preselect homes to purchase...and unlike some other companies i looked at, you do not have to pay for the house outright....there is a downpayment and mortgage which keeps your cash flow positive! They were great to work with!!
