Thank you Brian and Carl. I appreciate your expertise and prompt response. Yes, this would be for an investment. My brother started a C Corp and I want to roll over my pension and 401k ( by the way, does the pension roll over the same way the 401k does?). I was more interest in knowing if it was a requirement... the FA I am talking to is charging 1,300 for the roll over, 1,200 for the valuation and finally about 300-400 for the amendment. Trying to see if these are the standard fees?

Greetings- question in regards to roll overs to C Corp. This is not a ROBS,  it more to an established C Corp. My understanding is that there has to be a valuation of the stocks in order to roll over my 401k and Pension... the FA that I am currently talking to, wants to validate the stock before rolling over the money? Is this a common thing? Also, he said that he needs to amend the document so that I can become an employee as soon as I roll over the 401k and Pension? Is all of this needed to roll it over. My financial institution just told me, “ just tell us you want us to send the check to?” Any advise?
