Thanks, I keep hearing conflicting information on useing Real Estate agents when wholesaling.

Hi,

New and learning... question... What role can/does a Real Estate Agent have if you are wholesaling deals? Are they another source to find motivated sellers? What would be their incentive to work with a wholesaler?

My background is in banking/finance, i've been in the industry for 9 years as a branch manager. A friend of mine introduced me to a few REI books and my interest started to peak.
I do not have any experience in Real Estate other than tagging along with a buddy who is an investor and watching him close deals but I have great sales, business development and negotiating skills that I know are key.

I am looking foward to the knowledge I will gain from the Forum! I have been viewing other topics and see I have a lot to learn!!!

My name is Jessica and I am new and learning about Real Estate Investment. I've done lots of reading and attended a few seminars over the last few months and am so motivated to get out there and start finding deals and doing some deals!!!
Mainly interested in Wholesale first to get started but am interested in commercial, lease options, and when I grow up :shock: Land Development sounds really fun!

I am looking forward to learning from the forum!!!
