we haven't closed escrow.

@Aaron K. thanks for your quick reply...

my lawyer said this on his initial review:

"Wow, easiest RE sales contract I have ever seen. I don't see any penalties for withdrawing, but standard RE law applies. If you back out after signing, and the sellers can't find another buyer, they can sue you to enforce said contract or much more likely, if they sell to somebody who pays less, they can sue you for the difference between your agreed price and the price they got from another buyer."

I'm waiting for him to review the contract in detail.. but what I'm worried about is the standard RE law applies he is talking about.

I love this topic. but not yet financially free... :)

we just hit $100k gross rents.. just trying to reallocate assets to improve ROA...

love hearing fellow investor's stories....

Hey guys,

I'm new here... have a friend that referred me to this site to ask questions...

I signed a contract with a turnkey company but planning to backout.. there's no earnest money paid...

Is there any ramification for this?

After careful research we found that this company is having trouble serving their clients.. although they are trying to work with their clients.. we just don't have the time to be part of the growing pain they are going through.

I'm having my out of state lawyer review my contract...however wanted to get some thoughts from the community.

The property in question is in indiana and I'm not in the same state.

regards.
