I too am looking to try to join up and go to the wholesaler's meet up on April 2nd. I'm going to be looking to get into wholesaling the Atlanta area as well and am in search of some guidance/networking.

Post: S-Corp Election Form 2553 for new LLC

I recently formed a new LLC that will be involved in buy/sell, and buy/hold transactions. I read around online that stated I should go ahead and file form 2553 to be taxed as an S-Corp. I called a CPA for advice on it and was advised not to, and to just go ahead and when tax time comes, file as sole proprietor. I did not expect to hear that and I'm wondering if I shouldn't get a second opinion from another CPA, because I'm not even 100% sure that they specialize in real estate or not. Something about the advice given does not sit well with me. Any experience/suggestions that I may be able to take from any of you folks on here about it?
