@Suny Capezzuto dang. Have you worked with any quality property managers?

@Suny Capezzuto that is a good point, but if they’re working for me (not their own company) do they still have that requirement?

@Suny Capezzuto thanks for the input. I’ve considered that option and will do that as a last resort, however I think that hiring someone (yes an independent contractor) would be a more cost effective and likely a more effective overall option. Of course if I’m wrong a property management company is a last resort that I’d be willing to consider.

Has anyone successfully hired someone to perform some of these routine duties? Any suggestions on the best way to find someone?

I currently own and self-manage 3 rental properties and am adding another one soon. I’m also planning a move out of state and need to find someone to do the day to day management of the properties (showings, coordinating repairs with contractors, move ins/outs, etc.). Has anyone been successful with this? Any tips for someone making their first hire of this type? I’m thinking of listing an Indeed ad.

P.S. I’m in Cleveland, OH area.

Is anyone familiar with the real estate agent Doug Asp from Cleveland? He was referred to me, but in my limited email/online interaction thus far I have not been very impressed.
