New guy from Ohio checking in.  I am completely overwhelmed with everything this site has to offer.  I am new to a lot of the terminology here, so forgive me if I say something stupid.

At the moment I am mostly interested in multi family homes, but also single family.  My main reasoning for that is that a vacancy in a MFO doesn't stop the cash flow.  I do not have much saved up at the moment, but plan to start putting aside money every paycheck once the holidays pass.  

I have some friends who have a few properties, so I do have some people to learn on for advice and suggestions, but I don't feel any of them look at real estate as investing as opposed to some income on the side.  I would love to find someone to point me in the right directions and help expand my investing knowledge.
