Hi John....I've been curious about that as well. I went to the Greenville City Hall site looking for info on future development and plans. That's where my search bogged down. It reads like a phone book. I'm not 100% sure what to look for exactly. My gut tells me that they are going to continue to develop and rejuvenate that area since its so close to down town. The real question is when for me...how long until we start to see a real overhaul. I'm trying to avoid a disaster story. So of the prices on these homes are really good.

Hello guys, I'm new to the area. One of the things that attracted me to Greenville is the real estate market. Electrician by trade I am seriously considering getting into real estate as an agent full time. Electrical work doesn't pay that well down here in the south. Have been spending most of my free time trying to read anything I can get my hands on about real estate and networking. I actually attended the Foreclosure Auction at the Greenville Courthouse on Monday. That was pretty cool. Buying foreclosures is something I'm very interested in. I am also looking into multi family properties. It would be great if we could all stay in touch here on BP.

Hello peeps! Today is a new day. After a decade as a blue collar worker I've decided to call an audible and start a career in real estate! I'm still sorting out which direction I want to go. At first I was considering using my electrician background to become a home inspector. I felt this would help me asses the value of homes, meet good contractors, and develop a strong network with in real estate. Here recently I've been considering becoming a real estate agent instead. Either way the end result is to increase my knowledge in real estate and then to leverage that in to a real estate investment career.
