If you do a  search of this forum you will find that financing properties in CR is an issue, though the nature there and lifestyle is very attractive

Best to have a  strategy of exit to LTR , so the property you buy should be reasonably worth for both

Buy a small house and flip it using hard money etc and you will learn more than you would using that program and maybe even make a profit and also develop a network of realtors, lenders etc
